Patti Mollica is featured in the March 2010 issue of Artist's Magazine for winning top honors as a finalist in the "Landscape/Interiors" category of the International competition.
American Express buys extended license for Patti Mollica's paintings of NYC
2010 is turning out to be a great year. American Express commissioned me to create two of my distinctive New York City images for use as decals indicating American Express’s acceptance at establishments throughout the U.S. Amex has been so pleased with the finished work, they licensed extended rights for a full menu of other uses. So keep your eyes open for my New York paintings on billboards, collateral, ads…who knows where!
Teaching locations:
Patti is currently teaching at Rye Arts Center and Pelham Art Center. On March 7, 2010, she will be teaching a one day workshop, "How to Paint Fast, Loose, and Bold" at Rockland Center for the Arts.
You are invited join us on Thursday, October 29th from 6-9 at The Skylight Gallery in Chelsea for a show of Paintings by Patti Mollica, Eleanor Miller and Sculpture by Eric David Laxman. There will be light jazz and refreshments.
The Skylight Gallery is located at 538 West 29th Street, between 10th/11th Ave.
If you would like to see more paintings by Patti Mollica, just around the corner is Pepe Giallo Bistro, located at 253 10th Avenue (at 25th Street) in the heart of the Gallery District. (It's the building with the red awning in the attached painting) There are 10 paintings of NYC on display thru December.
