swimming with sharks (i'm not talking the businessmen type)

These are pictures from my second dive (yes, as in 1,2). so when i stepped off the boat and saw myself sinking into the image you see below, i realized that i did not want to be going where i was headed. Sinking like a brick and ... how to slow down or preferably stop altogether? I'm too new at this to know how to do that. If you are wondering why I did this, my dear husband talked me into getting certified in scuba so I could videotape him sketching live sharks. I'm starting to think I'm "certified" but not necessarily in the scuba sense. At least Mark had an excuse - there will be an editorial and photos about him sketching the sharks in one of the top dive magazines, which will be great publicity for his Aquasketch invention. I must say, being in an environment where you are suddenly hyper-aware that you are part of the food chain (and not at the top) gives one an interesting perspective on life..and its alternative. from now on, when I'm feeling the need to ponder life and death issues, i believe i'll go sit in a corner and meditate

Does the wolrd really need sketches of live sharks? Maybe there is a reason no one else is doing this

These guys just do NOT look like happy campers - wouldn't it be nicer to sketch dolphins instead???
